

Student regulations
The "Brothers of Yoga" association has been operating since 2022 with a mission to internally rehabilitate and strengthen the mental resilience of victims of trauma on security grounds. The course for training teachers for trauma-informed yoga is designed to provide participants with theoretical and practical tools in teaching Hatha Yoga, with basic adaptability for dealing with stressful and traumatic situations, in Israeli and international society, in the community of brothers and sisters of yoga, and in various educational frameworks.
The regulations – are an integral part of the course requirements, and are a continuation of the general information for the course. The regulations may change depending on the circumstances and the decision of the course directors. The regulations are written in the masculine form for convenience, but refer to all genders.
Conditions for starting the course:
1. Complete the registration form and send it by email.
2. Have a personal interview with the course coordinator.
3. Pay the registration fee in advance.
4. Arrange the tuition according to the terms set out in the registration form.
5. Receive a confirmation email and invitation to the course.
Attendance and conduct:
• The student is required to attend at least 85% of the face-to-face sessions. Unexplained absences will be considered a complete absence.
• During a school day, an absence of two hours will be considered a day of absence.
• Use of electronic devices (mobile phones, computers) during class will be carried out only with the knowledge and consent of the teacher for the purpose of summarizing the lesson and/or in an exceptional situation that requires the student's availability during class.
• Maintaining silence, listening, respectful conduct, and complete discretion are conditions for participation in the course.
• Serious violation of discipline (3 warnings) will result in termination of participation in the course without a refund.
Curriculum:
• Includes theoretical, practical and independent practice content.
• Active participation in all classes, both Zoom and in person, is mandatory.
• Each student is required to practice daily throughout the course.
• Assignments, recorded exercises, exams and submissions – all of these are an integral part of the certification requirements.
Submitting assignments and feedback:
• Will be submitted at the specified times during the course.
• Failure to submit on time – may delay or cancel receipt of the certificate.
• The student will be asked to fill out periodic feedback as part of the learning process.
Independent Practices and Completions:
• A student who misses a session will be required to complete the material in a documented form (recording/summary).
• Independent practice logs must be submitted throughout the course.
Registration and procedures:
• Registration for the course is subject to payment of a registration fee of 500 NIS.
• Admission to the course will be approved only after the candidate has been examined by an admissions committee and upon receipt of a confirmation email from the organization.
• Any changes to the curriculum or course dates are at the discretion of the course administrators.
Cancellation and refunds:
• Cancellation of participation will be made in writing only to the course registration email ttc@brothersin.yoga
• In the event of cancellation by the organizers – the full amount will be refunded.
• In the event of cancellation by the student – refunds will be made in accordance with the cancellation policy that will be provided in advance.
Confidentiality and Ethics:
• All information about the student will be stored in the association's registration system under data security and a commitment to confidentiality on behalf of the staff members (teachers, registration manager and assistants) who will be required to be exposed to it in order to deliver the course.
• Any personal sharing that takes place during the lessons is discreet and confidential.
• All material taught in the course is the intellectual property of the course directors.
• Course materials may not be distributed, recorded or photographed without written permission.
Internship regulations:
• Required to complete a yoga teaching certification.
• Includes 24 hours of teaching, 24 hours of observation + assistance, 2 hours of practical test
• Students are required to have professional insurance throughout the internship period.
• Submission of an internship portfolio – up to 100 days after the end of the course.
Approval of the regulations:
By signing or digitally confirming the student's signature, he declares that he has read the regulations, understood their contents, and undertakes to act in accordance with them throughout the course.
